A Pine Warbler forages in the Loblolly Pines at Blandair Park in Columbia, MD.  There were two Pine Warblers here today along with some bluebirds, juncos and one Chipping Sparrow.  Normally Pine Warblers only winter on the eastern shore of Maryland.

Some Mistletoe at Terrapin Nature Park just east of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. This is the farthest north I have seen this plant growing on the eastern shore of Maryland.

This is Bayberry, Myrica pensylvanica, which grows on the coastal plain in Maryland. Yellow-rumped Warblers like the fruits in winter.
